For those of you who want to experience Japan, but found that tickets were all booked by travel-hungry Thais, you can get a taste at the Japan Expo 2023. The expo will be held throughout centralwOrld, and will have a bit of everything.
You can grab some great Japanese street food as well as various imported items. There will also be live performances from popular groups such as the boy band Snow Man or the idol group AKB48.
For those who are unsure about what they want to do in Japan, there are tourism booths for each prefecture that’ll help you preview your potential travel destinations.

2. Faces of Khlongtoey – street photography showcasing often-unseen local life

Unless you can speak Thai, exploring the hidden crevices of Bangkok is nigh impossible. Luckily, Tim Russell, a UK photographer specialising in street photography, will be hosting an exhibition that showcases Bangkok life which is often hidden away from tourists.
The exhibition, titled Faces of Khlongtoey, will show you snippets of life inside a district of Bangkok that has long been known for its slum. While many consider the district dangerous, Tim’s photographs show pictures of a vibrant community that is misunderstood.
The photographer will also be at the gallery on opening night to give you a guided tour and answer any questions about this aspect of Thai culture that you won’t be able to read about online.

Thai artist Inson Wongam’s Infinite Journey is about showcasing that lifetime of dedication towards growth and self-improvement.
The exhibit will feature the Thai artist’s works from when he was still a budding star in the Thai art world to today. You will be able to see Inson’s art mature, change, and develop throughout the exhibit.
Seeing that growth on display will help inspire those who are just starting to discover themselves to continue on their journey of self-improvement, despite the feeling that we are not going fast enough to satisfy our own desires.

7. “Without Limits” – Banksy street art exhibit at MOCA

Banksy is a world-famous activist-artist. His street art is immediately recognizable and impactful.
The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in Bangkok currently has an exhibition of his street art called “Without Limits”. The exhibit recreates the street art pieces for an experiential viewing that captures the feeling of seeing the art on the street.
The exhibition features around 150 pieces that will inspire you to think about various social issues that dominate our world today.
