Thai National Park Passport campaign

Every year, Thailand draws in tons of tourists enticed by the beauty of Thailand’s nature. And lucky for them, the Department of National Park, Wildlife and Plant Conservation of Thailand is organizing a campaign to offer unlimited access to all 156 Thai national parks for one year.

Here are all the perks that come with this passport.

Unlimited access plus accommodation

To participate in this campaign, you’ll need the Thai National Park Passport. The passport, which is available at tourist centres around the country, is available for only ฿100.

After that, you’ll have to treat it like a Pokemon Master treats his or her Pokedex, and go catch them all. Luckily for you, there are only 156 spots, so it’s not as challenging as becoming a Pokemon Master.

You’ll need to get your passport stamped at all 156 locations, of course.

Once that’s done, you’ll get a special card that’ll grant you the following two perks.

First, you’ll get free and unlimited access to all Thai national parks for one year. You’ll also be able to bring in a vehicle, free of charge.

Second, you’ll get access to accommodation for no more than 4 people provided by the park for a 2-night stay. You can redeem this twice. You can reserve your accommodation here.

To visit all 156 is a monumental task, but every journey starts with a single step. To help make that first step enjoyable, we’ve already covered some of the most interesting national parks in Thailand and what makes each one unique.

For one of the biggest waterfalls in Thailand, Khlong Lan National Park in Kamphaeng Phet has a 100m waterfall.

For divers, Hat Chao Mai in Southern Thailand has tons of coral, and multiple islands to explore, as well as a literal hidden cave that is named for its visual phenomenon that was our #2 secret beach here.

Finally, there’s also Pa Hin Ngam National Park in Chaiyaphum which has a field of tulips and bizarre rock structures reminiscent of Stonehenge.

Gotta catch ’em all with the Thai National Park password

With over 156 spots, you’ll probably want to space them out a bit. But we can assure you that each of the national parks has its own unique character and flair that’ll make each visit memorable and exciting.
