On 30th September 2022, a group of monks in a temple in Nonthaburi were reportedly caught having a fight with weapons in hands in the middle of the temple. One monk was claimed to be holding a gun, but he denied it later.
A monk named Anurak stated the reason that a novice monk had a weed pipe in the cubicle, so he and another senior monk, Santi, went to destroy the pipe. When Anurak broke the pipe, he said the liquid splashed onto Santi’s face, and he didn’t take water to wash his face as there was only a water dipper for washing the bottom.
