Flower fields at Nakhon Ratchasima
2020 has been a wild year for all, but domestic travelling has been cheering many up in the Land of Smiles.
It’s December, and the flower fields at Suan Kaset 100 Rai at Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University definitely need to be on your travel list.
They’re opening it for free from 5th December 2020 to 5th January 2021 – here’s what to check out while here.

University project open to tourists

Within recent years, many have bloomed an appreciation for nature,
and the Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University started the Suan Kaset 100 Rai – a research project in agriculture and development – to attract tourists to appreciate nature a little more.

The space takes up around 100 Rai (39 acres, ~22km) with around 50,000 giant sunflowers. These XXL flowers have huge petals that are almost as big as a person’s head and take a slower time to wilt.
