Thai student helps out in emergency situation

With Bangkok’s heavy traffic, we don’t want to even begin imagining being stuck on the road while facing an emergency. This is especially difficult for many medical workers on ambulances, which have to navigate through cars to get to hospitals on time.

However, locals are always there to give a helping hand. Thai netizens recently expressed their gratitude for a university student, who went down on the road to help make a way for an ambulance.

The short video featured a university student trying to tell each driver on the road to move aside to make way for the ambulance.

Nhum informed Matichon Online that this incident happened around 9am, which was during rush hour. The medical team had to bring an old patient who had bedsores on many parts of their body from Charansanitwong 57 to Vajira Hospital.

There was bad traffic, and the ambulance couldn’t go any faster even though he sounded the siren.

Helping out in a time of need

Despite its sirens, it took a stranger to help give way for the ambulance to reach the hospital in time. Imagining our loved ones being in such situations is scary, and teaches us that kind deeds like this are priceless.

We wish that this incident can raise some awareness to better our society in the future.
