Thai grilled chicken chain back in business
On 12th December 2020, Samyan Mitrtown in Bangkok announced the closure of Nittaya Kai Yang. The decision came after reports of an individual who tested positive for Covid-19 dining at the highly popular grilled chicken chain.
Nittaya Kai Yang announced they’re back to servicing customers on 29th December 2020. They also detailed the safety measures they plan to implement.

During the restaurant’s closure, Bangkok Biz News reported that the restaurant’s staff were placed into quarantine as a precautionary measure. On 28th December, all 31 staff members were declared Covid free.

Even though the usual dine-outs are a favourite routine for many, dining in the safest option to socialise in small groups. Plus, eating at yours or your mates is cheaper and way more convenient!
