Rayaburi Resort has lakeside rooms with outdoor jacuzzis
Kanchanaburi is one of a few provinces in Thailand that’s famous for massive reservoirs. We’re talking scenic views from floating resorts at Srinakarin Dam in particular – one of the most popular destinations among tourists in the Land of Smiles. Here, there are a variety of resorts and raft houses that visitors can opt for overnight stays with water activities, like kayaking.
Take Rayaburi Resort for example. The expansive compound is a resort on Srinakarin Dam in Kanchanaburi that has lakeside rooms with outdoor bathtubs to soak in, with scenic views of the reservoir and mountains, as well as free access to duck boats for water rides.

Lakeside resort in Kanchanaburi
Located on Srinakarin Dam, Kanchanaburi, Rayaburi Resort offers a wide selection of rooms on land and water. The houses line up side by side, ensuring uninterrupted views for guests. Without urban traffic, the area surely supplies vacationers with a quiet and calm atmosphere.
Due to these elevated designs, while the hillside rooms are partly covered with thick jungles, the 180° views of the lake and mountains are still part of the deal.
Once the sun starts going down, we’re sure you don’t want to miss an opportunity to capture this reflection on the lake and upload it on your ‘gram to catch your followers’ attention.
Rooms offers jacuzzis with panoramic views of the lake
There’s no reason you wouldn’t look into the rooms after seeing the resort’s location and ambience. One of the rooms that piqued our interest is this Island Jacuzzi Suite that comes with prices starting from ฿4,500 (~USD125)/night. The room is decked in shades of Carolina blue alternating with white, the entire design exuding relaxing vibes. Also, guests will be provided with free breakfast and a one-hour’s worth of kayaking privileges.
Furthermore, on the deck sits a jacuzzi that boasts a panoramic view of the blue lake and rolling hills in sight. You can lie down inside the tub with bubbly foam covering your body or strike a chic pose in your bikini against the gorgeous backdrop.
If you’re not sure if this is the ideal room for you, feel free to check out their website for more rooms and features.
Go kayaking or ride a duck boat with your mates
While other luxury accommodations may provide you an infinity pool, the aim here is to idle away your time on this vast body of water with greenery all around. That said, we’d highly recommend that you go kayaking with your lovely buddies.
Each room’s price covers the cost of kayaking so guests can paddle around the lake to enjoy sweeping views of the landscape.
Sometimes, due to popular demand, none of the kayaks may be available. But fret not, you can still opt for a duck boat, which is also provided at the room. Without urgent things to deal with, you can have a mid-day reservoir ride with your partner or friend.
