Free taxi transfer for Covid-19 patients


The pandemic has slowed the global economy and constrained those who are in the workforce from making a sustainable living. To provide assistance to those in financial hardship and suffering from Covid-19, businesses in Thailand have been lending a helping hand.

One noble example is transporting for Covid-19 patients around Bangkok medical facilities with no charge.

Free transfers between Rajavithi Hospital and other Bangkok medical facilities


Rajavithi Hospital a taxi service that transports Covid-19 patients at their hospital to other medical facilities around Bangkok, reported by The Thaiger.

The service is available in these five time slots:

  1. 9AM – 11AM
  2. 11AM – 1PM
  3. 1PM – 3PM
  4. 3PM – 5PM
  5. 5PM – 7PM

Patients are required to reserve their spot one day prior to the anticipated transfer date through a pre-booking form or by scanning a QR code on the hospital’s pamphlet.

Whilst transferring the patients, the taxis will follow the below safety measure to reduce the spread of the virus:

  1. No air conditioning
  2. Windows to remain open at all times
  3. Patients need to leave and enter the vehicle on their own
  4. Covid-19 patients will be shielded off between the driver through a partition
  5. Maximum of two patients are permitted per ride
  6. Patients are only allowed to take maximum of two luggages
  7. Drivers are required to follow the Covid-19 measures accordingly
