When winter arrives, it’s gonna be a good vibe in Thailand as we’ll finally be away from the heat. That’s when you know it’s time to hit the road towards somewhere in the north. Phu Kho is, in our opinion, an underrated gem to get away for a few days.

Here, it offers hilly forested lands covered in fog on a cold morning, with the golden light accentuating its charm. Many trails can be found over hills, awaiting you to trek on them.

Phu Kho serves as a peaceful natural spot to get away in the winter up in the north. If you’re considering a trip to a national park and prefer to avoid crowded places, this destination is definitely worth a try.

It is advisable to use your own car, as public transit may be absent in this area. Anyway, to get to the viewpoint, you need to contact your campsite or resort, so they will take you to the viewpoint with their E-taen Thai tractors or 4WD pickup car.
