“Bangkok Breaking”
After The Stranded became a viral show, Netflix is now working on another Thai original series which will be called Bangkok Breaking.
Yesterday, the streaming service announced on their official Facebook page about the new project, which will be the 2nd Thai original, about a rescue worker who comes to Bangkok and gets tangled in a web of dark and dangerous secrets.
The series will have 6 episodes and is expected to air in 2021.

While the cast still remains a secret, Netflix already revealed that Kongkiat Khomsiri will be directing this series. He’s a skilful director whose masterpieces include The Unseeable and Slice.
The person who will take the role of the show’s screenwriter is Prabda Yoon, a well-known Thai writer who scored the S.E.A. Write Award in 2002 for Kwam Na Ja Pen (Probability), a novel collection of 13 short stories about ordinary lives and society.
With big names from the motion picture and the literature world like these guys, I must say I can’t wait to binge-watch this upcoming series.
