Bangkok MRT station closure

MRT Bangkok Metro has announced the closure of Nonthaburi Civic Center Station on the purple line. A staff member was reported to have been tested positive for COVID-19, and officials will be taking the necessary safety measures to clean and disinfect the premises.
The infected employee was sent to a hospital on 23rd March to undergo the necessary tests after falling sick, and was placed on leave thereafter. The station closed its services after their test came back positive.
Nonthaburi Civic Center Station will be suspending services until further notice. MRT Bangkok Metro has asked passengers to use its nearest MRT stations, Bang Krasor and Ministry of Public Health Station, in the meantime.
