Cat lost in Hat Yai found on a Bangkok highway
On 5th September 2022, a cat named ‘Moota‘ was reportedly found on a highway in Bangkok after it had gone missing from home in Hat Yai for nearly a month. The owner flew straight from Hat Yai to Bangkok to pick up the cat, reported Khaosod.
The owner stated that she saw a FB post on การทางพิเศษแห่งประเทศไทย, informing that they’d found a lost cat on a highway in Bangkok, so she reached out to the authorities. After learning more details, she found out that the lost cat turned out to be Moota – her pet cat that’d gone missing in Hat Yai, so she flew to pick it up. Understandably, she was incredibly surprised that the cat appeared in Bangkok, but she believed the cat could have jumped on someone’s pickup truck to the city.
She also told the press that she would fulfill her vow and stop eating meat for one year. Turns out, she’d made that promise to express her gratitude in finding her beloved cat.
The cat finally went home safely
Even though we don’t know for sure how the cat travelled to Bangkok, we could agree that the owner being reunited with her cat was indeed a miracle. More importantly, we’d like to express gratitude toward the Expressway Authority of Thailand for taking care of the cat.
