Thai folks woke up this morning with heavy hearts after witnessing one of the most ruthless public shooting incidents in recent years.

Last night, a man walked into Robinson Shopping Mall in Lopburi and headed straight to a gold shop situated near the entrance. He had a pistol with a silencer screwed onto its muzzle.

Once inside, he started to shoot passersby who were standing in his path before smashing the gold display and taking away some valuables that were in there. He then jumped on his red and white scooter and fled the scene.
