Last week, a clothes seller from Samut Prakan named Eisagun Sriuboon posted 2 videos on his Facebook, showing a woman trying out some underwear he was selling while standing in the middle of the market.

The caption read, “Oh gosh! You can’t try on underwear, aunty. She even checked herself in the mirror after.”

Video helped boost sale

Since Mr. Eisagun posted the videos, they’ve gained more than 11,000 shares, almost 1 million views, and over 4,500 comments. Many comments were tagging their friend to share the laughs.

Turns out there’s no such thing as bad publicity – at least for the seller. On 17th December 2019, Mr. Eisagun posted a follow-up and asked for the aunty to come to him since her videos made his stall famous, with sales going up.

He said he would like to give her 100 pairs of underpants as tokens of appreciation – well, we would NOT be surprised if she doesn’t come out at all as it’s a little embarrassing!
