La Cabra in Bangkok

It’s a well-known fact that Charoen Krung Road is one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Bangkok. Here are plentiful shops and restaurants housed within old architectural shophouses. Now, picture the intrigue of a cafe melding the old architecture with the minimalist elegance of Scandinavian design. How interesting would it be? If it’s hard to imagine, check out this cafe.

Nestled along Charoen Krung Road, La Cabra stands as a charming Scandinavian-style café. Here, you can delight in the taste of meticulously brewed coffee crafted from single-origin beans sourced all the way from South America.

Sitting within the historic neighbourhood of Bangkok, La Cabra is a Danish coffee establishment, the first branch in Thailand. What draws you to this cafe is the fragrant aroma of coffee expertly crafted by One Roast — a roasting technique with a single profile for each individual bean, suitable for brewing coffee in all styles.

Inspired by the architecture of this renowned road, the house found a way to blend classic elements with the inviting simplicity of a cosy Scandinavian design.

Outside, the seating area features a weathered industrial-style wall, complemented by traditional Thai stools and small round tables.

Unlike other typical coffee shops, La Cabra pleases its guests with its imported single-origin beans sourced from South America, such as Ecuador, Brazil, and El Salvador. Undergoing roasting with the One Roast Profile, these beans secure a one-of-a-kind and aromatic flavour for your coffee.

Coffee enthusiasts who enjoy their brew with milk will appreciate Coffee with Milk priced at ฿140 (~USD3.99). The item is made from Brazilian single-origin beans, Irmãos Manzoli, giving out flavours of chocolate, hazelnut, and blackberry.

You can also try Finca Santa Rosa at ฿140 (~USD7.40). Crafted from El Salvador beans, this choice presents a flavour profile highlighted by floral, sugary, and orange notes.
