Kuay Tiew Nuer Narok at Samut Prakan
If you consider yourself a spice king or queen with a mouth of steel for spicy food, you’d better give yourself a challenge at Kuay Tiew Nuer Narok.
This place is known for serving up a mean and spicy beef hot pot that will give you a burn – the good kind.
What to order
What people come here for is their signature Nuer Narok Mor Fai (฿180 ~5.7USD), or the super spicy hot pot beef soup.
The dish is served in a bubbling hot pot filled to the brim with soup, which gleams with a layer of hot and spicy red oil, reflecting how it’s going to taste.
The soup was extremely hot and sour – think about a mega hot bowl of tom yum soup. It also had a strong fragrance of chilli paste and coriander.
Generous toppings are provided, including stewed beef, meatballs, and different beef entrails. All toppings were soft and tender without having an overly meaty smell, which can be quite off-putting. Overall, although the soup is every chilli lovers dream – even though it was super spicy with each slurp, we couldn’t help going back for more.
Customers can also opt for Beef and Pork Noodles with a clear soup at ฿50. Don’t hesitate to try their Grilled Beef Skewers (฿10) that are just as spicy as the soup too.
