GrabBikers offered free services amid Korat shootingÂ

Since the tragic mass shooting in Korat, Thailand which caused the death of 29 innocent lives, there has been a dark cloud hanging over the country. However, every cloud still has a silver lining, and it is in times like this where we can see the spirit of kindness that Thais have for each other.Â
These GrabBike drivers volunteered themselves to send survivors of the shooting back home for free after the shooting took place at Terminal 21 shopping mall.

Sent the survivors back home for freeÂ
When the incident happened over the course of 8th to 9th February 2020, survivors were escaping the shopping mall all through the night. What they really needed was to head back home to safety as quickly as they could.Â
So, Facebook user BastiAn Rawu, one of the GrabBike drivers, posted that he and his friends were volunteering their services for free.
Translation: Please share it! For survivors of the shooting incident at Terminal 21 who need to head back home, we will drive you back home for free. You can find us in front of Big C near Krungsri Bank, or ask the officers nearby.Â

From the post, he also included their parking spot to let everybody know where to get a free ride.Â

Moreover, after the incident, they also offered free service during the mourning ceremony on 10th February too.Â

There have been over 19K shares and 10K comments with netizens expressing their appreciation for the rider’s actions. Many also wished the team success and happiness, and hoped that they will continue doing good things.Â
