Calling your first cab in Thailand can be quite a nerve-wracking experience, especially if you’ve heard of the horror stories. Even if it’s becoming increasingly uncommon, price gouging or having to bargain with a cab can be frustrating.

With Grab, which you can learn more about from our rideshares guide, you can bypass all those worries entirely. Through the app, you can book a ride and see the fares upfront, unless you’re using GrabTaxi. You can also communicate through the app, which will automatically translate your messages.

This way, Grab adds a convenient and safe alternative to getting to the city. So you can now stop worrying about how to get to the city and start enjoying Thailand.
