Girl From Nowhere Netflix series
Whilst Covid-19 cases have been rising nationwide, most Thais are urged to stay at home and prevent the spread. Of course, boredom will hit and they’ll binge-watch a bunch of series on Netflix.
This Thai online influencer, Mae Ying Ling seems to have gotten really into Netflix’s Girl From Nowhere, and took celebrating the main character, Nanno, to another level.

Dances like Nanno in living room
This comical influencer created their own IRL version of Girl From Nowhere. Mae Ying Ling transformed herself into Nanno’s counterpart, “Leeno” and named their show “Girl From Muang Thip”, which means “Girl From Fictional Land”.

Thailand’s Netflix series, Girl From Nowhere has been trending across many Southeast Asian countries due to the recent release of the series’ second season.

On 11th May 2021, Leeno’s reenactment video was uploaded on Facebook and has since been over 27K times. In the video, Leeno imitate’s Nanno’s dance on the school’s podium from the first season.

The video was shot with a pink filter on a Facebook Live, which is reminiscent of the series’ “JennyX” episode. There were even real-time comments popping up messages, which helped liken the imitation to Girl From Nowhere.

Netizens, including the official Facebook fan page of Girl From Nowhere seemed to think Leeno’s dance was on point.
