Foodpanda rider paddles for delivery
Food delivery providers have always been an essential part of our everyday lives – there have definitely been days where we’ve ordered all three meals off of a delivery app. When the pandemic hit, society developed an even deeper appreciation for these delivery persons.
On 2nd February 2021, Mr.Pradit Saengdee posted on Facebook some photos of his foodpanda rider who paddled across the Mae Pagong River in a small dingy in order to complete a food delivery.
Rider still wore helmet for safety
Sometimes, going to the fridge can prove enough of an inconvenience for us to forgo a snack – but this rider proved nothing would stop him from completing his delivery. When the delivery person noticed there was a river between him and his customer, he decided to use a small dingy cross the Mae Pagong River, according to Manager Online via Line Today.
He first crossed the river with a dingy, but turned off the engine upon reaching the opposite coast – he was worried about the marine ecosystem. So, the rider had to continue his journey using a paddle and his own strength.
The carrier also showed his dedication to safety – he wore a helmet throughout his journey across the channel.

Adversary for other people’s happiness
Crossing any body of water is dangerous, especially when done in a dingy. The carrier’s initiative shows that happiness really stems from a commitment to one’s cause – even if it means going the extra mile for others.
