Kiosks selling face masks at Airport Rail Link stations

People have been encouraged to wear face masks, especially in crowded areas like meeting points and transportation hubs. Recently, Thai train services including BTS, MRT, and also Airport Rail Link have tightened their rules which requires all passengers to wear face masks.
Aside from social distancing policies put in place, the Airport Rail Link line also levelled up its safety measures for their passengers by launching vending machine selling face masks at ฿20.
Cloth face masks at ฿20

To provide a safer and convenient service to passengers, the kiosks are set to sell affordable cloth masks at ฿20. This service aims to reduce the risk of infection by decreasing the contact between sellers and buyers.
The products being sold here are actually crafted by prisoners, so this is something that allows people to support a good cause too.

As for the quality of products, the World Health Organization shared that a cloth mask is effective enough to use public.
The vending machines are located at 3 of the most crowded stations – Ladkrabang, Makkasan, and Phaya Thai.
Other than that, there are various cloth masks made from different types of cloth being sold at each station like muslin and Japanese sakura fabrics starting from ฿20 to ฿85 at every station too.

Wearing a face mask in public is not only for your own health, but also for the safety of other people around you, especially if you’re feeling unwell.
