Bangkok found a way for people to shop safely during the COVID-19 pandemic with a drive-thru flea market at The Circle Ratchapruk.

The market takes place at the community mall’s parking area, which offers a slot of space for visitors to drive around in their vehicles and browse the shops.

If you want to make a purchase, you can simply move a car into a parking box in front of the stall you like to buy from. The staff will then present you with the menu without requiring you to leave the car.

Most of the stalls here sell ready-to-eat food and drinks from Thailand’s famous cafes and brands such as BRIX Dessert, Shabeebee, Henryfry, and Alto Coffee Roasters. You’ll leave with a full stomach for sure.

To ensure safety, the market has a temperature checkpoint for all visitors. Alternative payment such as QR code scanning is encouraged to minimise contact.

Additionally, each booth is placed 10 metres away from one another to help the sellers maintain social distance.

You can check out this new shopping spot from today until the end of May. See below for more detail.
