Personally, I think it’s true that every cloud has a silver lining. Though we’ve been going through a dark time lately, we’ve seen tons of people coming together to support each other.
One Thai man recently warmed hearts everywhere after was found giving less fortunate folks a reason to smile amid the pandemic.
“Can you smile for me?”
Mr. Nattapong Chablaem shared a video on Facebook, where he was seen donating money to homeless people at various places.
“Can you smile for me? That’s very handsome, right? Here, I’ll buy it.”

In the video, he asked a man to smile for him and then gave him ฿500 to buy essentials and supplies.
In an interview with Springnews, Mr. Nattapong said that he started creating tattoos around 2 years ago. He then got a follower who admired his work and had offered him some gold.
After he saw the difficulties faced by many people during the spread of COVID-19, he decided to sell that possession and donated the money he received from it to homeless people.
Because they were hesitant and thought he might have been lying at first, Mr. Nattapong asked for just a smile in exchange to provide them some reassurance.
He also added, “I don’t want to be famous, and I will continue doing this if I have more budget, These people don’t even have televisions or smartphones. It’s hard for them to find support during this hard time.”
Many netizens praised him for his kindness
His video has since garnered tonnes of support and praise from netizens who thanked him for his actions. Mr. Nattapong has also formed a team to invite others to donate any food and essentials to help more homeless and less fortunate people.
