Chiang Mai’s famous bakery CREAM by Flour Flour has opened its new branch in Bangkok for dessert lovers to enjoy. Tucked away at Silom Soi 7, this bakery sells premium donuts that have garnered a huge fan base and long queues.

The store first opened in Chiang Mai as Flour Flour and has been seeing large crowds almost everyday.
CREAM by Flour Flour now brings its special bakes to Bangkok, with the store hidden away at Silom Soi 7. Being a busy area, the bakery has long queues thanks to the nearby office crowd – dessert lovers should prepare to come down early to reserve your donuts.
CREAM focuses on donuts made of different fillings and flavours, as well as coffees and beverages to have them with.

The bakery stands out from others because all the donuts here are made from sourdough. Using sourdough gives the donuts here a different texture which is more chewy and “gooey”. It’s even healthier as it’s easier to digest and contains less sugar. They also use only unbleached flour with no preservatives,.
Because the ingredients are specially prepared, the donuts are freshly baked daily and come in a limited amount of 300 pieces per day.

There are a selection of 6 signature donut flavours for customers to choose from. They start from ฿69/piece, with the exception of the Cinnamon Donut (฿49) which comes with no filling, but has a dusting of cinnamon powder and sugar on top.
Chocolate lovers should have the Dirty Chocolate Donut, a fluffy donut filled with chocolate cream. As its name suggests, this decadent choice comes topped with dark chocolate, chocolate powder, and oozes with creamy chocolate.

If Chocolate is not your thing, you can opt for the Vanilla Donut full of homemade vanilla cream, or the Salted Caramel Cream Brulee Donut, which has has a nice sweet and salty flavour and a crunchy caramel shell on top.

Another must-try is the Lemon Meringue Donut that has charred meringue and a sweet lemon filling, as well as the Kinako Donut – a Japanese-inspired snack with soybean cream filling and roasted kinako bean powder on top.
There are many combo sets that let you to pair your donuts with a drink. Prices start at ฿90.

As the donuts here are limited, do come by early to grab them. As proved by their daily queues, the taste won’t disappoint for sure too. The store opens at 10am and runs till 5pm or when everything is sold out.
