Crazy Sushi Serves All-You-Want Salmon & Ikura Rice Bowls And Mala Salmon Rolls

Premium Japanese food in Ari

Premium Japanese food in Ari Located at Aqua, a shopping and eatery mall in Ari, Crazy Sushi is a Japanese restaurant that prides itself in serving premium food at inexpensive rates. It opened its doors in mid-June last year, so Crazy Sushi is relatively new to the game. But don’t be mistaken - the staff here know what they’re doing. When we found out about its premium salmon bowl with all-you-want toppings, we knew we had to visit. The food at Crazy Sushi For a place that has the word ‘sushi’ in its name, we were surprised that their crown jewel was the Salmon Rice Bowl, which is highly customisable. All we had to do was tick and choose whether we wanted regular or vinegar seasoned rice. Next, we chose the amount of salmon out of 5 options as follows: 100g (฿89, ~USD2.93) 200g (฿170, ~USD5.60) 300g (฿260, ~USD8.57) 400g (฿350, ~USD11.54) 500g (฿440, ~USD14.50) And, picked the quantity of Ikura (salmon caviar): 50g (฿120, ~USD3.96) 100g (฿220, ~USD7.25) 150g (฿350, ~USD11.54) 200g (฿450, ~USD14.83) 250g (฿550, ~USD18.13) After that, the staff came to our table with a huge bowl of fresh salmon and ikura. They then will weigh both the salmon and ikura according to the amount you choose and pile them all over your rice - it was a mouthwatering sight to see. If you like, you can add some creaminess to the dish by mixing the soya-sauce-infused yolk they serve on the side together with the rice. Each piece of salmon was cut into bite-sized pieces and really fresh and bouncy. The ikura exploded in salmon flavours once the bubbles burst in our month - this dish is definitely for salmon lovers. Next up, we tried the Crazy Sakura Mala (฿180, ~USD5.93) - a torched salmon roll with rice and mala spices, topped with ikura. At first bite, this almost tasted like typical sushi rolls with some sweetness from the mayonnaise, but the aftertaste was packed with a punch of heat from all those mala spices. We also got the Grilled Scallop with Sake (฿100, ~USD3.30) which was served on a flaming mini stove. The succulent scallop was well infused with the sake and tasted delicious. The last dish we had was the Salmon Kabutoni (฿150 ~USD4.94), a steamed salmon head soaked in light soya sauce topped with steamed carrots, enoki, and shiitake. Although the salmon was a bit dry for our liking, the broth was packed with flavour from the vegetables and soy sauce. Have chill evening with premium food With a pink decorative Sakura tree on the outside and a line of white lanterns hung over the door, this place is definitely photogenic. You also can choose to sit on the mezzanine for more privacy. Or if the weather is not too hot, you can get a seat in an open-air area in front of the restaurant. At Crazy Sushi, you’ll be able to dine on crazily fancy Japanese food with high-quality ingredients without having to empty your pockets.

Have chill evening with premium food

Although the salmon was a bit dry for our liking, the broth was packed with flavour from the vegetables and soy sauce.
