Creative wreaths during COVID-19
Hand sanitisers and face masks are now deemed as prized possessions for people to have in order to survive and help curb the spread of COVID-19 – so much so, it’s considered a worthy gift to give at this time.
This flower shop in Thailand, Khunton Florist, has adapted to the virus situation by offering wreaths made from hand sanitising gels and face masks.

With events like weddings and merit making ceremonies now cancelled, it’s hard for flower shops to get customers during this time.
Unfortunately, funerals are the only occasion left for these shops to make a living.
Ms. Amonrat Sumari, the owner of Khunton Florist, revealed to Khaosod that she got an idea to make her product outstanding and more useful.
She decided to craft a wreath from face masks and hand sanitisers, which receivers would find super useful amid the pandemic.
After trying this idea out, most of her customers reacted well to it – they even started picking this instead of the typical flower wreaths. The price is also affordable starting from ฿500.
She added that the cloth face masks that the store uses come from the shop’s partner, which has gone from working on flowers to crafting face masks due to the virus. Thus, both shops give each other support by helping each other out.
