Last week, a Ministry of Public Health employee crashed her brand new car into parking barriers knocked them down, all of which took place on the 4th floor of the Ministry’s carpark in Nonthaburi.
As a result, the car was slightly damaged after hitting the concrete columns around…all while its rear was hanging out in the air precariously – nope, nope, nope.

To everyone’s relief, the driver managed to get out without a scratch by using the passenger’s door, and the fallen concrete barrier did not land on anybody’s head.

Accidentally stepped on accelerator instead of brakes
Sanook revealed that the driver mistook the accelerator as brakes while the car’s gear was set on reverse, sending her car almost flying off the building.

The police then proceeded to move the car back into the building and settled the public property’s damage cost with the driver, which was fortunately paid for by her insurance company.

During the incident, the driver’s mother came to comfort her daughter who was still in shock and didn’t want to reveal her face or name to the public, or any further comments.
Her mother then showed her family’s amulets to the press, saying that their powers keep her family member safe, as seen in photos shared by Khaosod English.
Whether it was because of the magical amulets or pure luck, we are glad that the driver, as well as the passersby down below, were not injured. Take this story as a cautionary tale with a good ending and always be careful when you’re driving.
