Though the lockdown in some countries has been eased up, it’s still better and safer for people to remain indoors whenever possible and to practice social distancing from others when out.

Meanwhile, some of our lives are slowly going back to normal, making us go out and visit places we’ve missed during self-quarantine. This has led to a number of attractions and food stores implementing the necessary preventive measures to control the virus from spreading, with some awesome and hilarious initiatives along the way.

Following social distancing policies never seemed so cool until Burger King launched its campaigns to keep its customers safe from catching COVID-19.

Burger King Germany now has a giant DIY paper crown for customers to wear and follow social distancing policies in style. The crown is 1-metre in diameter, which forces the wearer to stay away from others. Plus, as it looks cool, it’s good for a snap as well.

Even though there are no giant crowns, BK Italy released a commercial for the Social Distancing Whopper with a 3-times the amount of raw onions – hey, bad breath will keep people away from each other, right?

These campaigns might sound not-that-serious, but they’ve been created to make people realise that they still need to obey social distancing rules. As for now, be sure to stay sanitised and avoid crowded conditions as more places in Thailand will reopen soon.
