On Monday, the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) has finally extended the ban on all incoming flights up until the end of May to prevent any possible COVID-19 infections from overseas.
The initial end to the ban was set on 30th April 2020.
This new date puts the flight ban in accordance with the newly extended emergency decree, which also ends on 31st May.
However, the ban won’t affect state and military aircraft, as well as aircraft making an emergency landing.
