Good news! Tod has since secured an internship as a mechanic at Toyota in Chiang Mai.

Not surrendering to his “fate” as someone who is disabled, Tod, who has a birth defect condition known as Phocomelia (under-development or absence of bones), aims to do the best he can with his life.
This week, he posted a heart-warming update on his Facebook page sharing that he had already started an internship programme.
Translation: I believe that every hardship will be gone one day. I will do my best for as long as I’m still breathing. Thank you everyone for your encouragement. Today, I started my new job.
He ended his post with an inspirational message for others, saying “Behind every difficulty, there’s always success”.
Netizens share support and give him encouragement
It was only last month that netizens were inspired by his job-hunting endeavour. Fellow Facebook users and followers have come together to share their well wishes and feel proud of Tod for working hard to achieve his dreams.
Translation: Try to learn and gain as much knowledge as you can. I believe you can do it, hang in there!
Others have thanked Toyota for giving Tod the opportunity to work.
Translation: I’d like to say thanks to his manager and Toyota Thailand for offering an opportunity to this boy.
Translation: Thank you very much Tod, you’ve inspired me and my friends a lot. P.S. Thank you Toyota for the opportunity given to him.
