The restaurant suffered from the closure policy

Since Thailand declared an emergency decree to battle COVID-19 in late March, diners have been prohibited to eat at restaurants. Only takeaways are permitted.

Like many eateries throughout the nation, 76 Garage was also hit hard by the policy since it has been known as a ‘sit-in and chill’ kind of place.

And so, the restaurant came up with the creative idea of using ripped deliverymen to boost their business during this dire time. Their marketing tactic seems to have paid off, as it has attracted tons of attention on social media.

The restaurant’s Facebook post alone has garnered over 2,400 shares with more than 3,000 comments. Its popularity also made it on Thai television as well.
