Many stores have had to temporarily close to mitigate transmissions of the virus, which has greatly affected local farmers in Thailand. This is due to them not being able to deliver fresh products to markets and restaurants, resulting in a loss of income from rotten fruits and vegetables.

With the oversupply products, 7-11 Thailand has decided to bring in fresh fruits and veggies to their outlets to support local farmers during COVID-19.

7-11 Thailand now allows local farmers to bring their fresh fruits and vegetables to listed outlets in the country. The staff will then help sell their products in order for farmers to gain some income during this hard time.

Every 7-11 Thailand branch has also tightened their cleaning standards and conduct temperature screening at the door for customers.

This awesome initiative not only supports local farmers, but also gives us an option to buy fresh ingredients more conveniently and safely too.

We are rooting for everyone who might be facing difficult times amid the spread of COVID-19. Take care of yourself and be strong!
