Covid-19 vaccine registrations at 7-Eleven

Covid-19 emergency procedures include accelerating our mass vaccination program in order to inoculate Thailand’s population.

Privately-owned companies, such as 7-Eleven, have now joined the efforts to expedite the vaccination registration process.

Starting from 27th May 2021 at 12PM, all 7-Eleven branches across Bangkok will offer Covid-19 registration services to Thais.

Here’s how you can get registered for a jab.

Register for Covid-19 vaccines at 7-Eleven outlets

Currently, locals aged from 18 to 59 years who are free of chronic illnesses will meet the criteria for this round of vaccinations – AstraZeneca is expected to be the primary supply for older residents, reported NBT World

We summarize the few simple steps necessary to make your Covid-19 vaccination appointment below.

Here’s how the process works:

  1. Present your Thai identity card and phone number to any 7-Eleven representative.
  2. Register your details on the Thai Ruam Jai Website.
  3. Provide a six-digit OTP code sent to your phone number to staff.
  4. Receive an SMS confirmation with your inoculation dates and details.

A 7-Eleven representative will be present to assist you in making your vaccination appointment, so don’t fret if you’re confused by the process.

For further inquiries, you may contact 1516 from 8AM to 8PM daily.

Collaboration between different Thai organisations

The Thai Ruam Jai Krungthep Prodpai Campaign which translates to “Thais come together to keep Bangkok safe” is spearheaded by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) and Thai Chamber of Commerce.

The initiative aims to aid the unvaccinated population in getting themselves registered for Covid-19 jabs, reported Naewna.

We think this collaboration with one of Thailand’s food giants, CP All Public Company Limited, which owns 7-Eleven, is a meaningful one.

In the midst of the pandemic, 7-Eleven staff members will also have new responsibilities in assisting citizens to accomplish a necessary step to stay safe.

Have you gotten vaccinated already?

Whilst many of Thailand’s residents have already gotten vaccinated, the current situation requires that current safety measures are maintained.

We hope that by making vaccine registration more accessible, Thailand can regain a sense of normalcy soon.

If you have been vaccinated already, we would like to hear your experiences about it.

What was your inoculation experience like? Were there any side effects? Do share your experiences in the comments.
