No more plastic bags at 7-11 Thailand
7-11 is joining the movement of supporting the use of reusable shopping bags instead of plastic bags in efforts to help solve the current environmental problem.
Being one of the most popular convenience stores in Thailand, it plays a huge part in our everyday lives. We often don’t think twice about the amount of plastic bags used in a single trip to the store too.

We’ve seen 7-11 giving points to customers whenever they don’t accept a plastic bag for purchased goods, and that’s just the beginning of their environmental campaign.

CP ALL, the company which 7-11 Thailand is under, declared that they will be rolling out necessary actions to do their part in saving the environment. The plastic bag ban will be implemented from 1st January 2020 onwards at 7-11 branches nationwide.
As of now, any policies for customers to pay an extra charge for plastic bags has not yet been announced. You can keep up for updates on 7-11 Facebook page, and website. Note that both pages are in Thai.
Without plastic bags, we’ll need to bring our own tote bags on our next trip to the store. Let’s do our part to help!
