A noteworthy photo spot has got to be this outdoor dining area with a swim-up pool bar. We love the Balinese thatched roof where you can idle away with a drink in hand by the pristine beach.
While the main seating area faces the sea, guests can also take a seat here with a full view of the resort and serene pools.

Among all the rooms, this white Thai-style villa next to the beach really caught our attention, thanks to the plunge pool out front. We love that guests can unwind the moment they step out of their rooms, and bask in the 180° view of the sea.

If you’re all about neutral notes of light greys and wood accents, we’d suggest checking out this Exclusive Beachfront Villa with a Plunge Pool from ฿18,000 (~USD480) that comes with a minimalist interior design and an outdoor plunge pool. Here’s a hot tip, however. The room sells out quickly, so if you’re interested, do check their website for the room’s availability before solidifying your plans.

However, if you’re traveling on a budget, this room is probably a more suitable option. Deluxe Garden View from ฿2,859 (~USD76) boasts a queen-sized bed as well as a view overlooking the lush tropical gardens at the resort from the balcony. Whether you’re on vacation with your other half or family, this homely room will def make it difficult to leave in the morning.

If swimming in the chlorinated waters of the pool isn’t your thing, feel free to grab a paddle board – which can be found at the beach – and go paddling in the sea. If you wonder how much they charge for it, let me assure you that there’s no cost. Just make sure to get one before other people grab ’em all cause of limited availability.
Book an overnight stay at Veranda Collection Samui
We think that Veranda Collection Samui‘s main selling point is definitely it’s architectural choices – blending modern amenities, artistic design, and traditional Thai-style roofs. Not to mention its private villa plunge pools, and swim-up pool bar.
Great for 3D2N-stays, be it with your family or partner, the resort is situated 20 minutes away from Koh Samui’s central area. We think the place is easy to find as it stands on the side of the main street. Furthermore, if you travel from Surat Thani, you can drive to Donsak Pier and take a boat ride to Koh Samui. After you reach Nathon Pier in Koh Samui, then you can hail a ride to the resort, which will take around 3 hours in total, including a journey in the city.
For travellers who want to go beyond the roads commonly trodden, the extra commute might well be worth it. If you get a chance to spend a night at this resort, let us know how you liked it in the comments below.
