Business is freezing all around the world due to the COVID-19 pandemic, even forcing over 195 million people to be unemployed all over the world.
Same goes for this family, where a father and mother had lost their jobs as construction workers and had to find a way to return to their hometown with their child. They didn’t have enough money to travel properly, thus had to resort to cycling all the way from Bangkok to Korat.
Thankfully, some tollway staff members spotted them just in time to help them out.

The post says: “Thais support each other. Three family members got lost and wrongly cycled to a tollway. After asking, we found that they wanted to go back to their hometown in Korat as they lost their jobs as construction workers during COVID-19.”
The distance between Bangkok to Korat is over 261km long, which takes around 4 hours to by car. Imagine how long it will take on a bicycle!
Two members of the staff, Mr. Suwaroj Pirojthanakul and Mr. Songpon Klongthong, decided to provide them with food and drinks as they waited. Then, they sent the family to Hua Lamphong Railway Station and paid for the train tickets back to their province.
They finally got train tickets to their home in Nakhon Ratchasima province
