Free food for neighbours affected by the virus
With people being negatively impacted by the spread of COVID-10, it’s heartwarming to see businesses and people help others out, such as providing job opportunities or helping put food on the table for the underprivileged.
Similarly, the owner of Precha Market in Udonthani has also decided to step up and offer free food for residents in the area every day from now until the situation gets better.

Mr. Preecha Chairat is the owner who is famous among locals for his kind heart and good causes for the public.
He decided to help support both neighbours living around and sellers in his market by purchasing food inside the market and offering to locals for free.
Free food will be provided daily, until the COVID-19 situation in Thailand gets better.
He revealed to Khaosod that he spends around ฿50,000 per day on the massive amounts of food he orders from vendors.

He also ensured that everyone still abides by the social safety rules such as having to wear face masks when queuing and social distancing.
There are 2 rounds for free food: a morning session from 7AM-9AM and evening session from 5PM-7PM.
Thank you for your kindness, Mr. Preecha. Even in a dark time like this, we can still find positive energy from people like him.
