For the past few weeks, ‘sharing pantries’ have been installed all over Thailand by both public and private parties to give out food to people in need.

The idea of this campaign is to help lower-income people to get through the economic recession due to the coronavirus pandemic. It also allows those with the capacity to give to lend a helping hand.

Folks who have enough to share can put food items such as rice, instant noodles, and water into the pantries, which are often placed in public areas.

Over the weekend, people in old town Phuket were taken by surprise when they noticed a trio of ‘T-rexes’ running around and filling up the sharing pantries in the area. They all also carried multiple grocery bags with them.

The internet gave them nicknames according to their colours: Blue, Grey, and Brown.

Netizens responded with smiles

A lot of folks who live in Phuket met with these Jurassic buddies on the streets and even took some stolen shots of them.

These pictures were shared online and some were just plain funny as they captured Blue falling many times.

Although nobody knows who these people were running around in the adorable T-rex suits, netizens responded to this charitable and funny deed with gratitude and laughter.

Some also expressed their concern for the guys in the suits because the weather was extremely hot during this time of the year.

Translation: Who’s behind this? What a brilliant idea. But it’s quite hot out here and I’m worried about them

Translation: Be quick if y’all don’t want to turn to sun-dried T-rexes!

Translation: I know how hot this suit is. Thank you for being generous and making us smile.

We need more of these kind T-rexes and their overloaded cuteness!
