Thai tour guide dresses as Spiderman to promote tourism in Krabi
After the Covid-19 pandemic, some places in Thailand have still been facing a decline in tourism. As a result, we can currently see some locals trying to help boost tourism in their hometowns in many ways, for example organising a big event to draw tourists to visit the town.
Similarly, a Thai tour guide in Krabi found an interesting way to promote the city by dressing up as Spiderman and climbing a rock near Railay Beach to gain attention from tourists. He also invited his buddy, who is a famous TikToker, to join him in promoting.

Thai tour guide dresses as Spiderman to promote Krabi
On 26th October 2022, The Thaiger reported that a Thai tour guide, Krasidet, in Krabi dressed up as a Spiderman and climb a rock at Tonsai Beach to attract tourists to visit Krabi.
Krasidet was revealed to be a tour guide and operation manager of Tinidee Hideaway Tonsai Beach Krabi. Due to his habit of cosplaying in different cartoons and movie character while working as a tour guide, he has become noted among locals and foreign visitors in the city.
Besides him being a Superman, Krasidet also invited a famous TikToker, Mitch Muscle, to dress up as Superman and join him in promoting the city.
Mitch Muscle is well-known for cosplaying as superheroes on TikTok. He and Krasidet met each other at Tinidee Hideaway Tonsai Beach Krabi, so Krasidet invited him to take part in increasing Krabi tourism, hoping that Krabi tourism would get better during the high season this year.
Such a creative way to promote tourism
Ngl, we were really impressed by his creative way in promoting tourism since we haven’t seen anybody else do this before in Thailand. He is obviously passionate about this, as he has done it before, and want his province to get more tourists, which is great for locals too. Hopefully, his hard work pays off as he hoped. Also, we can’t wait to see Thailand’s tourism back to life again.
