Thailand Listed As One Of Israel’s “Safe Countries” From COVID-19

21 safe countries

On Sunday, Israeli Ambassador to Thailand Meir Shlomo revealed that the Israel government has decided to include the resort country into the list of 21 safe countries from COVID-19.

Citizens from these countries will be exempted from the 14-day quarantine when they travel to Israel.

To assure safety, the list will be reviewed every 2 weeks, said the Ambassador.

According to the Ambassador, this exemption will also cover Thai labourers in Israel’s agricultural sector, meaning they can travel freely to work without going through any complicated procedures.

Last week, a group of 92 Thai workers who travelled to Israel for employment were the first group to do so during the pandemic.
