In order to adapt to the economy, the company first launched a cabin cafe to target cafe hoppers in the country, and is now offering all street food fans patonggo made with their special recipe.

Thai Airways has been selling patonggo since 2019 in Chiang Mai under Puff & Pie, but the focused group of customers are the company’s staff and event organizers who order snack boxes.

This new branch at Silom is taking things to the next level and is the airline’s first ever street food stall, making it more accessible for regular customers.

The store at Silom started operating on 16th September 2020, and it is open everyday from 6.30am, attracting big queues from as early as 5am.

The patonggo here is said to be made with a special secret recipe, and they gave a hint that what makes their fried dough different is the cake flour that they use.
