While other chain restaurants like McDonald and KFC have jumped on trendy bandwagons like salted egg, one trend that will never die is our love for bubble tea. Swensen’s is now making waves by launching their Taiwanese Boba Tea Bingsu Cake, giving bubble tea lovers a new dessert fix.

If you’re a big fan of bubble tea, bingsu, and ice cream, you can’t miss out on their Taiwanese Boba Tea Bingsu Cake (฿179). This is a “cake” of shaved ice with little pieces of brown sugar jelly in the middle, which is topped with salted whipped cream, crispy waffle bits, and chewy konjac boba

It’s served with a scoop of Taiwanese milk tea ice cream and brown sugar sauce which has a sweet note with a hint of saltiness.

There are also 3 other flavours in the bingsu cake series  (฿179) for you to try: strawberry, chocolate, and mango.

If you’re craving for something sweet and fruity, go for the Strawberry Bingsu Cake, with pieces of dried strawberry and cookies crumble on top. You will also get a sweet and sour strawberry sauce to top everything.

Mango Sticky Rice Bingsu Cake is also a nice choice. You will get to taste real mango and a scoop of mango-flavoured ice cream sitting on top of sweet pandan sticky rice, sprinkled with crushed almonds.

Or if you’re a die-hard fan of chocolate, then Chocolate Bingsu Cake is a must-order. Make sure you pour a chocolate sauce all over ice cream and Oreo cookies crumble before enjoying it.

Note: You can pick the flavour of ice cream you want!

Available at Swensen’s selected branches

While the original 3 flavours can be found at every outlet and will stay on the menu for a long time, Taiwanese Boba Tea Bingsu Cake is only available while stocks last at limited branches. Click here to check out a Swensen’s branch near you.

This might be the only chance you be able to taste boba tea, bingsu, and ice cream all in one bite. So don’t wait and go to a nearby Swensen’s before it runs out!
