Besides chocolate, ice cream is another form of medicine for us to recover from bad moods, stress, and all that annoying stuff. Plus, there’s nothing better to combat the heat with.

If ice cream is your way to go to enjoy a sunny day in Bangkok, time to check out Sugar Plump! – a brand new ice cream shop that’s tucked away in Narathiwat Ratchanakarin Soi 5.

Try 5 flavours at once

Sugar Plump! comes with the passion to serve their customers a variety of their special scoops. Following the motto “Ice cream that gives curiosity flavour”, each ice cream is made from a variety of interesting ingredients.

Some of their signature flavours include Love Me Love My Sour (yuzu sherbet), Holy Choc (dark chocolate), and Chew Chew (bubblegum).

One scoop costs ฿59 (~USD2), and you can top up ฿10 (~USD0.30) for a waffle cone.

If you can’t decide which flavour to choose, don’t worry – you can get 5 scoops all at once to try.

Their Five Tiny Scoops set comes in a cute palette that holds 5 mini cones of homemade ice cream. The set costs ฿65 (~USD2.15), and you can then pick your favourite flavour after the taste test.

If you’d like something to wash down all that ice cream, they have drinks like Peach Caramel Milk (฿60, ~USD2) and Cocoa Original (฿60, ~USD2) available too. But we say head straight for their Floats (starts from ฿95, ~USD3.20) for a real treat.

Insta-worthy cafe vibes

All photo-nerds should get their cameras ready, because almost every corner of this cafe is IG-worthy

The 2 owners, Jinapa “Pam” Sanyong and Chalakorn “Eng” Chulasai, studied architecture, which explains why the cafe looks so pretty. The store is inspired by minimalistic Korean cafes, and we love the pastel pink accents all around

Note that the seats here are limited with only 2-3 seats, but the cute design still warrants a trip down to the cafe.
