Starbucks has been one of our all-time favourite coffee shops and is always launching something new for us to look forward to. With the cherry blossom season coming up, it has a new sakura collection along with seasonal items on sale. Plus, there’s something for eco-friendly folks to get too!

Even though lots of us are aware of the environmental impacts of plastic straws, it’s an item that we sometimes can’t help using when buying drinks.

Starbucks has just released a new eco-friendly silicone rubber straw (฿250)  that is collapsible, making it portable and easy to carry around. It even has its own little casing, which might make it a good alternative for those who are not fans of metal straws.

The straws have metal joints, which make them flexible.

Seasonal desserts, drinks, and new tumbler collection

Starbucks Thailand is also bringing sakura vibes to its menu with new seasonal drinks.

We recommend going for the Iced Sakura Vanilla Macchiato (from ฿150) as a refreshing perk-me-up. This is a combination of sweet French vanilla sauce, espresso, fresh milk, with a bed of creamy milk froth and an extra drizzle of vanilla syrup.

Plus, you can continue the eco-friendly trend by getting your drinks to-go in Starbucks’ newest sakura collection of cups and tumblers.

Besides sakura, Starbucks is also bringing back an all-time-favourite food trend: salted egg lava. Their Salted Egg Lava Croissants (฿100) come stuffed with sweet salted egg sauce that oozes out as soon as you bite into the crisp exterior.

Other new desserts include Yuzu Cheesecake, Caramel Pancake Bites, and Cottage Pies.

New products to try at Starbucks

The seasonal items will be temporary with us, so give these drinks and desserts a try while they are still around in Thailand. And don’t forget to use a reusable straw!
