The gardens at Secret Wonderland are so thick that it blocks off all signs of the city; a much-needed retreat from Bangkok’s concrete jungles – Cheshire Cat not included.

The Alice In Wonderland theme becomes apparent as you step inside the cafe. The classic-looking accents mixed with wooden furniture gives off a whimsical atmosphere, where you can’t decide if you prefer the cozy couches or the wooden chairs.

There is a red curtained corner of the room decorated with an elegant wall mirror and cozy, cushiony loveseats. The checkered tile floors complete the look of the corridors Alice wanders after falling into the rabbit hole.
Fusion dishes to go mad for

Recommended dishes are the Butterfly Pea Glass Noodle Spicy Salad With Grilled River Prawns (฿179) with bluish-purple noodles, and the cafe’s signature Truffle Kurobuta Don (฿180) topped with a delicious truffle sauce.

Harry Potter fans will be delighted to know that the cafe also serves Butterbeer (฿120), but there is also the Witch’s Flower (฿155) for some anchan flower magic. If you want something more usual, try the limey New Normal (฿180)
Getting lost in the woods
The closest BTS stop is Ratchathewi on the green line, which is a 14-minute walk to the cafe from there. It is located next to the Bangkok Oasis Hotel, so keep a lookout for the White Rabbit!
