Thailand Has New Spicy Salted Egg Wafer Snacks For Just ฿20 To Buy Back Home

Judging from the popularity of salted-egg-flavoured grub like Carbonara Milkshake and salted egg souffle pancakes, this flavour continues to trend all across Thailand

And now, fans can look forward to a new snack. Local brand Bissin has launched its newest Qube wafers that come in 2 savoury flavours to enjoy.

Bissin offers 2 flavours: stir-fried salted egg and spicy salted egg. It costs only ฿20 (~USD0.65) and are available at convenience stores like Lawson and Tsuruha, and also at supermarkets like Big C, Max Value and all branches of The Mall.

Salted egg fans can opt for stir-fried salted egg flavour, which has a creamy texture just like the real dish. The taste is also quite mellow and not overpowering, so you won’t stop picking one more till the last piece.

If you prefer Thai’s saab (spicy) flavour, you can try the spicy salted egg one instead. Fair warning, Thais are known for handling their spice well, so have some water handy when downing these.
