Russell Crowe, a 57-year-old Hollywood actor, posted a series of close-up selfies of himself and several attractions in Phuket on his Twitter account during his staycation from 18-23th September 2021.
The Hollywood actor was one of the first celebrities to share pictures of his visit to Thailand amidst the Covid-19 situation. He also claimed that he was there to shoot a new movie in Bangkok, before taking a slight detour for a vacation in Phuket.

On 11th October 2021, he posted a picture of Phra Phuttha Mingmongkol Eaknakakeeree at Wat Phra Yai (Big Buddha Temple) and a video of a beautiful sunset at Amanpuri Phuket Resort.
These pictures quickly caught the attention of many netizens, with the tweets going viral garnering over a thousand retweets.

In response to questions from his curious fans, Russell Crowe clarified that fully-vaccinated foreign tourists can fly to Thailand for vacation.
However, they are required to stay in a designated SHA+ resort for 14 days before travelling elsewhere in Thailand.
For those who are wondering if Thailand is reopening for foreign visitors, here’s an update from the government.
Thailand reopens from 1st November 2021
From 1st November 2021, foreign visitors from 5 countries including UK, USA, Germany, China, and Singapore are allowed to enter the Kingdom of Thailand without a 14-day quarantine, according to updated regulations.
Therefore, we have come up with two recommendations for all tourists outside of Thailand.
