Nonthaburi, a province near Bangkok, has imposed a curfew as an attempt to curb the COVID-19 infection numbers in the area.

The curfew bans people from leaving their houses from 11pm to 5am, starting from 1st April 2020 until further notice. 

However, people who work during these hours, such as delivery persons, or those with urgent needs may leave the house as usual.

Has second-highest infections in Thailand


As of 31st March, Nonthaburi has 79 cases of COVID-19 in total, which makes it the province with the second-most infections after the capital city.

Behind Nonthaburi is Phuket with 55 cases, and Yala with 48.
