Flight frequency to be determined
Nok Airlines Public Company Limited, more commonly known as ‘Nok Air’ plans to start with routes between China, Japan, Myanmar, India and Vietnam.
CEO of Nok Airlines Public Company Limited, Mr. Wuttiphum Chulangkul shared that the airline has resumed flights across Thailand, except for the Chiang Mai – Udon Thani and Ubon Ratchathani – Chiang Mai routes.
The airline used to have an estimated 3,700 passengers per day and currently serve 7,000 passengers daily. However, Nok Air stated that despite the large drop in passengers, they continue to recover slowly, according to Khaosod.
More international flights in the future
The budget airline has even expressed plans to add more routes to the Philippines and Malaysia. With international flights being a thing of the past due to Covid-19, Nok Air’s announcement hinting at multilateral travel is surely hinting at a light at the end of the tunnel.
