Life has changed a lot right after COVID-19 stepped into our day-to-day living – but we’re learning to adapt each day. People are now working from home, museums are setting up virtual tours, and kids are now e-learning.

Celebrities are doing their part to spread happiness and make our lives at home a little more fun.

Lady Gaga announced a virtual charity concert, One World: Together at Home. Tonnes of celeb guests will be taking part too, and it’s all for a good cause to help raise money to support those in need amid the coronavirus crisis.

Global Citizen and the World Health Organisation recently launched a virtual show inviting stars to help raise money to support medical professionals all over the world fight with COVID-19 virus. 

On 6th April, Lady Gaga teamed up with them to announced the charity concert One World: Together at Home, which will air on 18th/19th April 2020. All the money from this campaign will go to the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organisation. 

These funds will be distributed to various organisations throughout the world to provide as much support as possible, whether it’s producing more medical equipment, or ensuring there is enough food and accommodation for underprivileged people. 

The long list of celebrities who will join the fun are Paul McCartney, Chris Martin, Elton John, Billie Eilish, Stevie Wonder, Lizzo, Alanis Morissette, Andrea Bocelli, Kacey Musgraves, Green Day, Maluma, Priyanka Chopra-Jonas, John Legend, Idris Elba, Kerry Washington, David Beckham, and many more.

Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, and Stephen Colbert together with Sesame Street characters will be joining as the host for the concert too.

Lady Gaga also added that they have already raised over $35 million for the project as of today. “We want to raise the money before we go on air. When we do go on air, put your wallets away, your credit cards away, and enjoy the show,” she said.

One World: Together at Home will be broadcasted on different TV channels in the USA on Saturday, 18th April (5pm PT/8pm ET/12am GMT).

BBC One will air it on 19th April, and steam via different online channels like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram,  Tidal, Amazon Prime Video and Alibaba at around 7am, local Thai time.
